Plus size models and helicopters

I had fun modeling, rendering and animating the elephant for Geronimo in this RBS Insurance ad. Research consisted of days looking at high-resolution photos of elephant buttocks. The helicopter is also entirely 3D, plus we threw in some flying birds for good measure. The film was shot and composited by brother Gabor Eszenyi, Senior Digital Creative at Geronimo.

Carpenters workshop inside a phone

Vodafone’s new agency Team Red asked me to create this print ad for small businesses. I modeled, textured and rendered an entire carpenters workshop complete with tools, exposed brick walls and wood flooring. They provided a photo of the phone featured but I created a 3D version instead which looks a lot better. Only the human hand is a real photograph here, the rest is 3D.

Official Audi perfume

This image for Audi’s authorised service ad features 3D seamlessly integrated into a photo. Can you guess which is which? Well, the background, the oil drops, the dipstick and the oil cap are all photos, while I did the perfume bottle and cap in Cinema 4D and Photoshop.

Animating a whole island

Vodafone needed a background for their TV commercial for which I have built an island from scratch. This is a step-by-step animated werkfilm for the project: the island in question is the Obuda Island where the Sziget Festival is held every August. I created the island and the water, then added buildings, trees, people moving around, stages, roads, lights, some dust and smoke to set the athmosphere. Initially it was a daytime animation, then got changed to nighttime, so I added lots of lights too. Used in Vodafone TV and print campaigns.

Modelling Award-Winning Chocolate

Our friend, designer Dóri Sirály with the agency Tshirt Ads and Design created this wonderfully quirky kitten for the relaunched packaging of the vintage Hungarian Macskanyelv (Cat’s Tongue) chocolates. We got the job of modelling and rendering the piece of chocolate for the packaging, as well as creating 3D models of the packaging itself. The design won a Silver Blade at this year’s Kreativ Awards.

Mapping Terracotta Warriors

We created the official TV commercial for the Terracotta Army Exhibition in Budapest, Hungary. We used an Olympus PEN E-P1 digital camera for taking photos and then created the animation in Cinema 4D using camera mapping.

Chocolate Bar under the X-ray

We helped our friends at Umbrella create a TV commercial for the chocolate bar Sport. Created, modelled and textured both the green and the X-rayed chocolate, then animated them.

A Golden Blade, a Silver Blade and a Bronze Blade

We are proud to have contributed to three top award-winning projects at the Golden Blade (Arany Penge Creative Festival) this year. The award show held on May 20 was organized and hosted by MAKSZ, the Alliance for Hungarian Communications Agencies for the 12th time.

Our friends at Tshirt Ads and Design won a Silver Blade for the Minicat chocolate package design, and a Bronze Blade for the AME sweets packaging design. We lent a hand in both of these, creating, texturing and rendering various fruits and chocolate bars, and then rendering the packaging models for a number of sweets and chocolates. The package designs were done by the crew of Tshirt Ads and Design.

We also contributed to a project that won a Golden Blade, the Budapest Winter Invitation campaign by Cluso (photography by István Lábady). We created CGI steam and droplets on the window for the citylights and other outdoor and print ads. This campaign was on citylights all over Europe – we personally spotted several ones on the Frankfurt U-Bahn.

Helping with the Blades

Looking at this year’s Aranypenge (Golden Blade) nominees, we are proud to see that we contributed to a number of shortlisted ads and campaigns.

For the Budapest Winter Invitation print ads (photography by István Lábady), we created CGI steam and droplets on the window. This campaign was on citylights all over Europe – we personally spotted several ones on the Frankfurt U-Bahn.

We created, textured and animated the scooter, the PS3, the messenger bag and the chocolate for the Sport chocolate bar commercial (at 2:40 of the clip) in collaboration with our longtime comrades Umbrella VFX.

We also had the job of creating, texturing and rendering various fruits and chocolate bars, and then rendering the packaging models for a number of AME sweets and chocolates. The package designs were done by our friends at Tshirt Ads and Design.

We did VFX for the Milka promo which included 3D modeling of the background elements and the room, plus background replacement, in collaboration with Umbrella VFX.
